Walking in the hills around Aboyne and Upper Deeside is my favourite past time. While Scotland has it famous Munro challenge (that is climbing hills over 3000ft) I have never been a Munro bagger. Such is my enjoyment of my local area I never find walking on the same path, some probably over 100 times, repetitive. The sun, weather and seasons all bring unique wonders to each walk. The map highlights some of my favourite walking areas. |
